Didn't have a chance to drop a jig, but I marked the spots. Do you think these are crappie?

I’m thinking green carp. Just a guess.

Dang. I'll keep looking, but I'm gonna drop a jig down there anyway.
Pretty sure this is bass on some shad. They were bustin' around the boat.

Looks like white perch to me. Perch cover the bottom and usually don't stack vertically. Try a small Hopkins spoon.

Def not white perch, this is a stocked county water reservoir and they did not stock those. I'm gonna drop down jigs and red wigglers and see next time I fish there...

stocked or not they COULD be there. Are there ducks of geese that fly in and out of the water?? If so they carry fish eggs in their feathers sometimes and they get washed off in the next lake

I just think that's a long shot, but I don't have a camera, so a drop-shot red wiggler goes down in the AM. If that don't get a bite, a jig is next. Fingers crossed, hope they are shellcrackers and not dink bass, but they probably ain't crappie, as is the consensus (mostly) here and on our local BB.

Edit: the reasoning (most just say no and do not explain why) is the fish are mostly at one level, and not stacked. I'm learning and won't stop trying until I figure this lake out.
