    Default Irritating Navionics Issue

Any Navionics gurus out there? Sometimes the simplest things are just so hard to pin down. I have a regional Navionics premium that I use in my H-bird Helix.

I want to be able to 'scout' ahead of time on my PC, using the Navionics map to mark waypoints, points of interest, routes, etc., and then offload those nav points and routes to an SD card for when I'm on the water.

I don't want the silly mobile app, phones are for calling the wife to say the fishing is too good/too lousy to make it home in time for supper.

Surely there are tools - sanctioned by Navionics, I'm even happy to pay a little - to accomplish this??

You can save yourself a step and power the unit in the house on a 12v power converter ...

Boot the unit is Simulator and mark waypoints directly on the maps in the Chart view on the HB unit ...

No need for transferring anything that way because the waypoints will already be in the unit memory ... Plus - it's more practice for using the HB unit ...

I don't think Navionics even makes the Nav Planner PC software any more ...

Thanks - I'd thought of that and it'll work, it's just so much easier zooming in and out and scrolling around with a PC and mouse, but if I gotta I gotta.
