    Question Y- CAble

Is there a Y cable I can use to split the 2D image from my 598di and send it to my 788ci ? Thanks

The only way to share 1 xducer to 2 units (besides Ethernet) is the discontinued HB US3 switch (unlikely you'll find one) ...

Humminbird Fishfinder Switch US3 | Free Shipping over $49!

There is no Y cable to split off 2d and send the 2d to another unit ...

Can you explain what or why you're trying to accomplish ...??

    Thanks Rickie

I used to have both transducers mounted to my trolling motor. I bought a new trolling motor from you (thank you) and it doesn't have room to mount both transducers with out drilling a hole in the skeg and I hate to do that to a new motor. I'll have to rig something up. There's always a way.

So I'm curious to find options (in my head) for your specific scenario ...

Where are the 2 head units mounted on the boat ...??

Is it your desire to have 2d sonar from the front of boat showing on both head units..?? (1 unit could be used for dedicated mapping) ...

Both units are at the front of the boat and sit side by side. I like to run the DI on the 598 and 2D or mapping on the 788. Split screen on the 598 is just too small for my eyes.

I think I will rig up a bracket I can mount on the trolling motor that will hold both transducers.

This is your best option for sonar on both units at the same time ...
