I’m gonna pass on this update as some are still having issues on bbc when they update. I have no issues running hummingbirds 1.64 update.

I was an "engineer" at one time in my life last century. I did both hardware and software development. Here is the way it works:

An engineer will "over engineer" and the engineer's boss will push for an unreasonable scheduled release and a salesman will sell anything. This is just the way it works. Period.

Looks,to me, that this update was over engineered and put out without testing it as the guys on bbc have gotten no answers to their problems and hummingbird is giving some of them previous updates to revert back to especially on using their 360’s. From what I read also, 1.84 was a fix for the shallow water depths on the finders to keep the depth from jumping up and down and showing as much as 1000:ft of depth when your only in the shallows. I got that fixed with hummingbirds instructions when upgrading to 1.64 version and it’s back for some installing 1.84, with no fix from hummingbird in everybody on bbc emailing and calling tech support. I am not updating as everything works fine for me with the setup I have. Rocket scientists at work again!

ez Did the update work out for you?
