Thread: Hook2 Map card sharing?

I am contemplating upgrading my electronics. I'd like to get a new unit up front and another on the console. Been looking at the Hook2 7 or 9 units. Can the cards be used between the two, I realize not at the same time.It would be nice if they could be copied or loaded on the unit. Is the internal GPS very accurate? Is sidescan worth the extra cost? Thanks

Yes you can share cards, if you physically move the cards from one unit to the other. The GPS is as accurate as any other brand,there all pretty good.Sidescan is nice,is it worth it? In my opinion if you use all of it's features yes (structure scan overlay) is a nice tool.
