    Default Humminbird transducer question

I have a extra XHS 9 HPSI 180 T transducer on hand and I was thinking about putting it on my aluminum boat. The sonar that I will be using is the Humminbird 581i that takes the smaller XNT 9 20 T transducer. Just wondering if 2d part of the XHS 9 HPSI 180 T would work. Now I know that the SI and DI part will not work on this sonar but would the 2D part work as they are separate in the plug or is it going to be some reason it would not work?

Yes it will work for 2d ...

The 2d wire channel (and the ground/drain wire channel) in the XNT 9 20 T and the XHS 9 HDSI 180 T are the same ...

Good saved me some cash for sure as I seldom use the old aluminum Jon boat. I will just use this XHS 9 HDSI 180 T transducer then other than to go buy another transducer. Hope you having a good fishing year. Thanks Rickie.
