Default Proper Ram Mount for Garmin Striker 7sv

Delighted to get a refurb. Garmin Striker 7sv for $319.00. I will be mounting on the starboard interior side panel on my G3 1652 VBW for the tiller steer position. What RAM mount should I use for this installation? 1" or 1.5" ball?

In what ways will side imaging enhance my ability to locate fish?

    Thank You.

1.5" ball. The little 1" ball will turn too easily.

You may want to try using the factory mount, as the RAM mounts will wipe out your Garmin savings.

Thanks. Ram mount will be necessary because I have no horizontal surface.

Default Proper Ram Mount for Garmin Striker 7sv

You can spin the factory mount straight back, to go on vertical surfaces.

I have the 1.5" RAM mount on a 73SV. The factory mount is straight back, and then on the RAM mount.
