The noise is generated by the variable speed PWM, so 5 speed motors don't do it. First troubleshooting step should be to operate the motor on 100%. If the noise is still present, your problem isn't RF.

I'm suspecting you have a power connection between your batteries. Tell us about your onboard chargers and your boat batteries and outboard.

Catfan --- on the rite track, it is being back fed through the power supplying the power. An on board charger that is connected all the time could be where it feeds through

I'm thinking you are hitting the nail on the head. Turned on TM and it only does it on half's. 1,2,3,4 and so on it doesn't do it. 1 1/2, 2 1/2, 3 1/2 all the way up to 8 it does it. At 9, 9 1/2, and 10 it doesn't do it.
Battery situation has change though since the edge. I went from 12v to 24v. I only have 2 battery's on board though. TM is hooked to both batteries and all electronic are hooked to one side of one of the batteries. My Helix isn't giving me any problems but my 787 is.
Is there any solution short on me adding another battery? I'll have to cut a hole in the front deck and that's going to be a pain and expensive and I don't have room in the back off the boat to add a 3rd battery.

I’ve heard of pulling the fuses on the charger to stop back feed

The shared battery is the problem. You just can't do that without causing interference.

Is there a reason the helix isn't affected

Probably not as sensitive at the frequency you are using or better at filtering the noise.

If you can't run two dedicated batteries on the trolling motor you could just run a small gell cell or lawn mower battery to power your graphs.
Using two dedicated TM batteries is the best option if you can manage it.

I had that problem with my power drive when I went to a HDS , , I used the rings first didn't stop it, ran a ground wire from my - post to the housing on the motor, that fixed it. been working 2 years now.
