Default What am I looking at?

Finally got the chance to use the FF slab donated this evening. Seems to work ok, however being that I've never used one I'm needing help Identifying what's on the screen. I can tell fish but that's about it. Any help is appreciated

It says 16ft. Bottom looks like 25 ft or better?

The top of the weeds 10ft? Bottom 15?

Also, FF is called a side finder. So is it SI? Seems to me is DI correct? Sorry if these are dumb questions I'm just super confused

The Bottom view almosts looks like a Thermocline -- It could just be a different density with lots of trash from recent rains . Weeds usually don't grow at 10 to 15 foot deep. With you sitting still in the water it could be a school of shad but with the different Depths I hardly think so

the Filter button might control sensitivity -- that might also be too high - try that next time on the water - Slab is a fine Fellow

Thanks for your response and yes he is. I'll try that again. I didn't notice any difference pressing filter but I'll try it again. And there are weeds in this lake at that depth...they look similar to a pine tree I guess. Not sure idk my aquatic vegetation that well

I'm not sure if this is the exact manual but it does cover the "side finder" feature ...
