I mounted my transducer on bottom of motor with transducer saver. Used a 1/4" clear plastic water line split down side and put transducer cable inside for protection. Used 1/16" x 1 1/2" flat alum strap around shaft above depth stop knob use bolt to clamp it to shaft loose enough to turn . Let it extend out about 8" and zip tie hose with cable inside to end of bracket. You need slick in cord and bracket to turn when using spot lock. Just need to keep eye on cable when deploying. Very little cost and time, bought parts at Lowes.

I was determined to figure out how to route my mega through the terrova with lift assist and believed I figured it out. Remove the lift assist it's simple start at the bottom collar just wear leather gloves let tape slide up in the paddle looking thing at top of tm pull all the bolts from paddle and pull out spring coil. Mine didn't spring out like everyone is thinking they will. Disassemble head unit, slide shaft out and to install mega or lss2 lowrance ducer you will have to carefully use a die grinder or wider dremel bit to grind down into slot so wire does not stick out but dont go too deep. It is a pita but to me worth it. I have been contemplating doing this for months sitting on this solix 10 and finally said to heck with it and took the chance.
