    I've never found mapping for any of the waters I fish to be very reliable.

    Id much rather make my own or have a good sidescanning unit instead.

    Schisns, that's what I am thinking about, maps/contours may not be that useful to me.

    I like the maps to "scout" out potienal areas with, and for navigation channels.

    I agree! Lakemaster makes the best maps for the lake I fish. I've found lots of good places to fish just viewing the maps on my unit sitting in my garage, marking them with way points. Catch fish on allot of them.

    You got that right ; I scout sitting in my lazyboy recliner. I have always found them to be accurate also...
