I have a gen1 Helix 7 and a gen1 Helix 10. I haven't noticed any problem seeing them.
I recently went from a HB 898c SI to the Helix 7 SI G2.
With the 898 I never had an issue looking at the screen from any angle with my polarized glasses on, with the Helix, if I'm off to the side or look at it while standing up, all I get is a black screen until I remove my glasses or adjust my angle. Anyone else have this issue?
Has something changed with the new models? I'm wearing the same prescription lenses I had before I installed the Helix last month...

Polarized glasses block out a lot of light and such on LED and LCD screens. Part of it has to do with the glare protection on a screen and part is the LED.....pilots don’t wear polarized sunglasses for this reason. You can read up on it but they filter out some of the color spectrum.

I have noticed it with mine but I haven't tried it without the glasses since they are RX
I've even noticed that on some gas pumps I can't read the screen when I have mine on. It just looks like a rainbow across it until I take my glasses off.

I've noticed it in my truck. Can't see the numbers on the radio with polarized glasses on.
