Default 5" Easy to use sonar?

    Needing the voice of experience!
Looking a fish finder, 5" screen, easy to use, for the Jon Boat. Water depth is typically less than 30', usually, less than 10' . GPS for speed, ready to go out of the box, no mapping software needed . Thought I'd check with BBG and The GPS Store for prices .
You guys and gals have some suggestions?
    Thanks

Definitely check with Brian at Bbg marine ! Bigger is better but that may not be an issue for you I started out with 5” and now have a 10” and it’s a game changer for sure!

Not a Lowrance guy myself but that new hook2 in 4-5 inch compared to helix 5 looks like a pretty good little unit for the money.

I’ve got a buddy that is looking at the same unit, they appear to be nice for the price.

I just put a Garmin Striker Plus 5CV on a 16/48 flatbottom jon. It has traditional and clearvu sonar, plus gps and Quickdraw XContours that allows you to create your own maps. Still learning settings but it is a great unit for the price. $299

I had an Elite 5ti and now have the Helix 5si

Like the Humminbird more. The SI is better, and the new update includes a neat flasher view. Even though it isn't touch screen it's still easy to use.
