    I fish 80 % of time in back of the boat. That is why the mount on the trolling motor works for me. When running parallel to a blow down filled shore. I run a PS 30 Down Vu and a PS 21 combo view on a Garmin GPSMAP 1040. This gives me an efficient crappie finding tool in spring. Which submerged tree is the best that particular day is soon found.

    Later in the year when slow trolling cranks or plastics still use rear seat. Humminbird Mega 10 comes into play using the follow the contour option with the I-Link.

    When anchored I usually use front seat for jigging purposes. Back to a Garmin product for that.

    If I used the front seat the most I think rickie's da ducer would be the best option.
