Thread: 360 and options with different head units?

Don’t want to drop ~$1000 on a new bow mount 360 ducer if my head units aren’t going to provide settings/views to maximize the 360’s usefulness.

To add to this my 859 is currently setup at bow of boat. The settings/view available on it wouldn’t really help me much.

Is it same type deal with Helix units? Do the Helix sonar/gps combo vs di/gps vs si/gps all provide different view/settings options when using head unit with 360?

Go on Humminbird web site. Look up the updates for your unit. See if they offer the upgrade for the 360. Think I remember something about having to update certain legacy units to be able to run 360.
