Thread: Xi5 vs Terrova prop/motor which is quieter?

Anyone who has used both the Motorguide Xi5 trolling motor and the Minn Kota Terrova, can you compare the prop/motor noise level between the two? Which one is quieter?

I've run 2 MK 101 Terrovas and now an xi5 105# 36 volts
My estimation is that the turn motor is quieter on the xi5 and the prop motor is about the same with the xi5 having a very slight advantage. That said, I've been told the newer terrovas are quieter than the version I had, but I haven't been around one so I can't say for sure.
