Default Another must have tinker board

I love timers. This particular timer allows a relay to stay on for a selected time. Great for tinkering and cheap too. I just ordered a couple.

These boards are great for random logic circuitry. My transducer lift is a random logic design. I made it work with relays and switches. No electronics except for the china made power supply. Today's graduate engineers would struggle to figure out how my deploy circuitry works. I love relays.

A motion switch on the input and a LOUD horn on the output could make a handy boat burglar alarm.

here is the circuit I drew up that runs the show. It is sequential relay logic. I had a bunch of relays lying around collecting dust, so I just used them. I like the good old days and ways.

Numerous ways to add this feature. You could add a switch and turn on an LED when the transducer is in the water. The LED could come on when you turn the big motor.

You could add a pressure switch and sense pressure at a certain speed and automatically raise the transducer. You could build your own pressure sensor switch using miniature coil springs and a metal plate. The plate would collapse the springs as speed increases. The plate could collapse (as water pressure increases on it thru movement thru the water) and touch a wire and ground the wire. Walla.

I have done this type stuff before. You can calculate all day long, but guess work pays off.
