Powerdrive V2 iPilot issue
I recently purchased a Minn Kota Powerdrive v2 with iPilot. I took it out for the first time yesterday and man am I impressed. Upon further investigation I found out that I can also control the motor through the Minn Kota app on my iPhone. I downloaded the app and turned my Bluetooth on, then pressed learn on the head of the trolling motor, but the trolling motor never showed up in my list of devices in the Bluetooth section on my phone. Any ideas? I very well may be doing something wrong. Thanks in advance!

That's what I was thinking, but I'm not the most knowledgeable on this kind of stuff. I can't figure out how to post a picture, but it says on Minn Kota's press release about the iPhone app that the PowerDrive is compatible.

when did you but you motor ??? you might have to call minn kota tech support and check your serial number to see if it compatible !!!!

Bought it last week. Thought I would check here and see if anyone had any ideas before I bothered with calling tech support.

if you got it last week you should be good to go !!! I don't know anything on the Bluetooth app , if someone on here does I hope they chime in !!! but if all else fails give tech support a call its more than likely a easy fix !!! good luck to ya !!!!

Did you really get the latest model? New don't make it true. I bought a vacuum cleaner, new. The vacuum cleaner arrived new, but had an old sea hag with it. The model I ordered showed a young blonde.

Well, after further investigation, I in fact did not get the 2017 model. I got in on closeout at Gander for better than 50% off, so it's hard to be too irritated, but it does kind of stink that it was not this years model.
