Most da ducer apparatus® application installations have da ducer apparatus® mounted back farther (aft) from the bow point than their TM ...

This allows the side beam to "shoot" behind the TM housing and still shoot under the bow rake of the boat ...

da ducer apparatus® does not have to be mounted in any particular spot ...

I have customers with da ducer apparatus® mounted off the side ...

Don A mounted his in front of his TM ...

I have a couple customers with da ducer apparatus® mounted off the back deck of bass boats (sorry no pix) ...

    Cane Pole's Pontoon ...

    Outside the TM mounting ...

I've customized several to get the customer what they need ...

Thanks. Do you still need to have the ducer applied at a particular depth, relative to the TM or not. Guessing if it is fore or aft then not so much. Except aft one would need to just ensure they were below hull. Thinking sv/si here mostly. Mine is currently on the TM. Experiencing some rf that I can't seem to resolve and may go this route. The turning of the TM and the sv/si effect on the screen is very minor to me. But the rf is something I would like to fix. I have a spare-barely been wet--gt52hw that I am going to hang over the side and see how far away I must go to be rid of the rf. Then I will know what way(s) I may have open for install. I am only in a 1436 jon so my front deck is limited with a bow mount and ram mounted Garmin already there. TY

Ok, Rickie talked me into mounting both transducers and after 5 hrs of completely dismantling the trolling motor transducer, and the da ducer, I started all over again squeezing in the 2 trolling motor ends threaded thu as instructed and got the 2 transducers mounted same depth as I run my trolling motor on the da ducer mount. I really like this setup and especially not having to worry about transducer wire breakage with the Hook 5 HDI off the trolling motor. Will take pics tomorrow after the wind lets up as we are having north winds to 40 mph with wind chill of 36 outside and still need to clean the boat and mess up and check everything out before trying all this out. Thanks Rickie for all the answered questions and suggestions!!!

The xducer just needs to be in the water ...

If the xducer and the TM prop are at the same level - and if the TM is turned 180° away from the xducer = there may be a small amount of xducer movement when the TM prop is pushing water directly at the xducer ...

I run my TM all the way down ... and run my xducer just a little higher ...
