Default Mounting a transducer to a Motorguide xi5?

Has anyone figured out a way to do this? The xi5 does not have a slot in the shaft. The gearbox is in the way. I'm sure someone has a solution.

Two suggestions. Both from C.C sponsors.

    First is:

    Cornfield Crappie Gear

Second is to not mount the transducer on the TM at all but use this:

The pictures are of a MK unit but we have this set up for the Terrova, Ulterra , Ultrex, power drive, and the moto guide Xi5
The hose now only comes in black.

How would one thread the transducer wiring through the polly tubing???? The connector is way larger than the tubing opening.
