    Default Playing with Lowrance Go Free WiFi = Neat Stuff


    I haven't installed the Go Free module on my boat yet as I am in the process of rewiring stuff. Rain today gave me some play time. So, it is SHOWTIME.

    First, I updated to HDS7 to rev 6.
    Second, I installed the Lowrance Go Free app on my Iphone.
    Third, I hooked it all up on my workbench.
    Fourth, I took pictures.
    Fifth, I am bragging my success. Easy. ( I done this before.) Still easy.

    Side by side picture and Iphone about 20 foot away thru 2 walls. Good WiFi range.

    The Iphone is for viewing only. The Ipad can actually control functions of the selected HDS. I don't have an Ipad, but might git a used wifi only Ipad just for the heck of it as winter is also coming. TV sucks.
