    Default Helix questions

    I have a 788 on the bow of my triton, the transducer cable is bad, so that sounds like a good reason to upgrade (doesn't it?) I was going to a Helix7, but then found that the 7 is not HD, but the 9 is. Now I'm thinking 9 (di), but see the 12 has chirp. questions;
    1. is chirp worth the extra money?
    2. I'm planning on just di. are there any issues with mounting a 9,10,or 12 on the bow with transducer on the trolling motor?
    3. they will all Ethernet to the 998 that is at the console?

    CHIRP can separate fish from structure and from the bottom somewhat ... Most wouldn't even see the difference

    Electric TM's are challenging to route the xducer cable ... Cable steer TM's are not so bad

    HELIX 9, 10, or 12 will share Waypoints, Accessories and like Sonar technologies with the xx8 series
