Default iPad mounts for boat bow

I was wondering if anybody has a iPad mount at the bow of the boat. I'm looking for a strong mount that will hold it secure and be able to remove it easily from the mount. Ram has several options but I was wondering if anyone has experience with them to see which style is best

Sorry don't have an answer but a question... what is your reason for mounting an iPad to the bow? Just curious...

With the new hds gen3 units and gen2 units if you buy the wifi module for gen2 you can mirror and do some operations on tablets and cellphones. So with my hds 9 at the console I can see from the bow what is on the unit with the iPad. It's a lot cheaper than buying another unit. I'll still have my elite chirp on bow, but while I'm trolling around I can see my side scan imaging on a nice 10 in screen.

I have a hds gen 3 12 And have been playing around with the wifi inside getting use to the menus on the unit and it works great ... On the other hand unless it a cloudy day your not going to be able to see much on the ipad outside in full sun

Yeah I was concerned about full sunlight and visibility. It may not be worth the investment. I already have a old iPad, but a couple hundred bucks for the wifi on my gen2 might be better invested in rods or lures

I use my Ipad for that and navionics at times and I have found that I really like the Ram Mounts for an Ipad Along with a life proof case

Wifi is built in gen 3 (and Carbon) ...
