Yes ... you can find b/w 2d sonar units, color 2d sonar units, color 2d & down image combo's, and some b/w Down Image only units ..... from Lowrance or Humminbird that run from less than $100 to $170 ... and even some from Garmin in that price range.

The screens will be small on the color or combo units, usually around the 3.5" diag ... to some 5" diag black/white image units. And there's always refurb units, and used units at even lower prices.

Do a Google search for "fish finders" ... then look at the Amazon.com link and the "shop for fish finders on Google" link ... and have a look at which units are in your price range, and what features they have that may be beneficial to you & your way of fishing. Pick out a few that interest you, jot down their model number & brand & price (& seller) ... then check with Brian at BBG Marine (a site member) and see if he can beat those prices.

You can also check on the Personal Classifieds forum, on this site, and watch for members selling their units. That's where I bought my Lowrance Elite 5DSI unit a couple of years ago, from a member, and got a $600+ (new) unit for $475 ... and a extra transducer and trolling motor mounting sleeve was included (worth around $100-$125 at the time). Members are always upgrading, and need to sell their used units ... plus, with Christmas coming, there may be more of them on the Classifieds forum if brings them a bigger/better unit.
