Garmin 541S ? - Lowrance HDS 8 Structure Scan
I recently purchased a HDS 8 Combo and will be installing it on the console. Would I be better off to trade the Garmin for another Lowrance unit? What would be the advantages and which unit would be comparable to the 541S? I don't want to install the Garmin on the bow and decide I would be better off with a Lowrance. Thanks.

HDS7 is always a best buy.
Better to have the same brands with multiple units, Saves the hassle of learning two operating systems.
Some great advantages networking two or more HDS units that you would not have if you add a Garmin in the mix.
