Kosmo, like I said, the wind is it's friend. I would like to see a video when it is calm.

On another forum I had a PM response from a MG engineer. Whether he was or not, I have no idea. He told me it was a compass in the head, or possibly 2, I can't remember, that made the unit more accurate. The GPS can only hold as good as the govt accuracy allows. By using a compass or 2? the unit can tell if it is moving off the spot before the GPS. Made sense to me. Not sure how 2 GPS receivers would help if they are both getting the same info?
Does this look familiar?

The Rhodan looks an awful lot like the MG and I wonder if they sold the rights to MG or how they came up with the same product?
The video is pretty impressive. But, before I bought one, I'd have to have a money back guarantee.
I know the Point 1 GPS puck from Lowrance does have a built in compass. HB has one too. They are worth the money for steering to a waypoint. But, I don't know about multiple GPS receivers improving the accuracy for 'spotlock' to maintain position over a point in space. Maybe so, maybe not.
It is my understanding that WAAS is the system our military uses which is now available to all of us. It was made available to the general public several years ago but, it has errors also. It is considerably better than a GPS that does not use it but, still not perfect. A better, much more accurate system is in the works but, I can't recall the timeline on it being launched.

That looks like a sweet system!
