    Default Boat wiring advice needed

I understand that it is not a good idea to place trolling motor wires and electronics wires near each other, but is it O.K. to place HDS and structure scan power wires in the same PVC conduit with transducer and ethernet cables? Thanks.

When I put in my 1st HDS and LSS-1. I just ran the transducers wires from the back of the boat to the console right along with all the other wires going from the main battery to the console and I didn't have any problems. When I installed my 2nd HDS in the front of the boat I did the same thing ignoring the TM power lines (motorguide digital) and got interference. What I did was followed every step in the RF Inerference thread and it clear up almost all of it with out really reducing the sensitivity. I know I can clear up the rest of it with a little tinkering. I think the only thing that affected it was the TM

I moved my TM power lines to the otherside of the boat.
I twisted my power line lines (black & red) running to my HDS unit
I added ferrite cores to both the red and yellow lines just before the HDS Plug. I don't know if I needed to add the 2nd core to the yellow line but what they heck, I was there and didn't want to have to redo anything.

So to answer you question, I would say yes you'll be okay but if you get a little inteference you have options. (thanks to these guys on C.C)
