take look at this link and scroll down to Lss-1 covers.. I bet probably closest to that. (for the down scan part)
BBC Boards: Lowrance Help Topics, Contact info, Networking Diagrams
Jason.. ...
The chart that you refer to is, indeed, for the LSS-1 Structure Scan xducer....(even the "down imaging" column in that chart is for the "down imaging" feature of the SS xducer)...
The DSI xducer is completely different....even the "down imaging" elements in the 2 different xducers could be different...we cannot assume that the specs would be the same for both xducers without confirmation from Lowrance....
Therefore, it would stand to reason that... Lowrance has separate and independent documentation for that DSI xducer somewhere...
Can you please help us find the documention specs for the DSI xducer....(that includes the 455 and 800 beam angle coverages)....so we can know for sure..
Rickie
DSI @ -10db
455 kHz: approximately 70⁰ (side-to-side)
800 kHz: approximately 50⁰ (side-to-side)

As you see the DSI part is the same with lss-1.

Thank you Jason....
Now there should be no misunderstanding or misinterpretation of the DSI xducer beam angles...
Your help is greatly appreciated...:)
This information will definitely help users of the DSI units understand their respective beam angles coverage....

thats a good picture that is easy to understand. now picture the di transducer on your trolling motor while your fishing vertical with your poles extending out in front of your boat.also remember that you will be turning the trolling motor different ways while fishing
Pretty darn close to the HB specifications as I would suspect it to be given all we knew before this input.
Thanks
