I have a 1222 Garmin for my livescope screen. What is the next best unit above the 1222. 1222 is manual, buttons, dial, I get lost using it. First year with it. Keep learning or upgrade to the next unit?

I went from a 1022 to a 126sv, and to be honest I think I liked the 1022 just as well, if not more. The 1222 is a really good unit and to go up from there you might need to take a look at the 8600 series $$$. This is just my opinion though.

8612 would be the next step if wanting a better 12 in unit.

    Learn the 1222.
I prefer it over a touch screen.
Gotta about 3 years of seat time with mine.
    Zero issues.
Make sure you keep it updated.
    Good luck
