If you are making these to sell put me on your list, would love to have one...Ipilot best thing to ever come around. Backup foot control just to have would give me a good feeling just to be able to switch over if need be. Wonder why MK didn't think this to be a needed thing with Ipilot?????

I would be also very interested in this, I'm speech less that switching between I-pilot and pedal isn't standard on V2

    Default I know why.....

Minn Kota is a victim of their own design evolution. Terrova foot pedal controls with serial data, whereas V2 foot pedal controls with direct wire.

There is not enough room in the head piece housing to put all electronics that is required to accommodate both v2 and Terrova foot pedal control commands.

I am surprised that the V2 is still in production.

I have a prototype pcb ordered and should be able to build and test the multiplexer next weekend. Takes time. Also, I been hindered by the floods here.

I am still investigating a substitute cable connector. I believe I have found one in the UK. I just gotta turn on the Southern charm and get a free sample (connector sample) from one of the cutie London girls.

I personally don't need the connectors. I am just trying to simplify the implementation of the circuit.

Implementation is more complicated that the circuit itself. The circuit is simple.

By the way, don't forget I am doing this for the hell of it, not for profit.

Glad to see that you didn't give up!
I also couln't care less about connectors, soldering will do just fine for me.
Is there way to avoid the circuit board with switch i-pilot/pedal ?
K.I.S.S is always the best solution

No. The steering control for the V2 was in the head unit. This is disconnected when you install the Ipilot in the V2. The wires that are disconnected when installing the V2 are for steering control. That is why you loose the foot pedal.

I will place the circuit in public domain. You can build it from scratch if you wish. I will place the info in public domain when I debug all the functions of the circuit.
