The Oculus Multibeam Sonars originally made for use on submarines is a $45,000, yes FORTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLAR sonar transducer. Humminbirds new MEGA LIVE seems to have a lot of similarities. Loyal Humminbird users have waited for such a long time (self included) to be able to have something equal to or better than the Garmin and Lowrance units. Hopefully the wait has been worth it. Don't expect the same $45K quality from the Oculus but who knows it could end up being so much better than the Garmin livescope that it revolutionize the way we see fish on our units AGAIN!
