Finally was able to obtain an electronic copy of the I-Pilot Remote operations manual, instructions are there and pretty simple / straight forward.

Got a MinnKota Power Drive V2. From serial number it is a 2007 model. Has PD/AP/US2 on top of head. Can this be converted to IPilot.?

Call these guys, have serial number and model. They will walk you through it. If I can be they should have the parts you need. Super helpful folks and good prices on parts.

Has anyone had experience with spot lock not working on a brand new unit? Just installed mine last night and took it out for a test run this morning. Spot lock shows on the remote but it drifted 86 feet away before I took control manually. When I selected go to Waypoint from my Humminbird unit it would go toward the Waypoint but once it hit a hundred foot away the unit would shut down. I put the outboard in Reverse to see how far away it would go before the trolling motor kicked in but once it went back outside 100 foot circle the spot lock cancelled on its own. I made a call to Minn Kota while on the water and throughout all the troubleshooting they told me that it could be bad batteries which are brand new and then also said it could be a control head issue.

Have you installed the Bluetooth heading sensor, and is it showing that it is paired with the TM? Is it blinking while in use?
Have you calibrated the TM via the remote?
Have you set up the vessel offset via the remote?
When you were going to your way point, did the remote show enroute and countdown to the waypoint?

Yes I did all of that. It just will not spot lock And if I decide to go to a waypoint once it hits that hundred foot distance away, the unit just shuts down. There is no prop movement or Direction. I disconnected the ethernet cord from the Helix thinking that it was giving a arrival alarm and throwing it off but that didn't seem to help either. I went so far as to engage spot lock and then reverse the outboard and once outside of a hundred feet the spot lock just cancels. When testing earlier today, I was telling the trolling motor to go to a waypoint that was 365 feet away. The motor would go to speed 10 and be on a straight line to the Waypoint but once the distance got to 100, then the trolling motor would stop fowward progress and drift to around 65 to 70 feet before the distance started increasing again with the wind. I'm just really at a loss as to what other things I can rule out.

I'm not at home now, but later this evening I will check my manual. There is a setting for how your TM will act once it gets to a waypoint via autopilot. Do you have yours set on legacy or advanced?
If I remember correctly, you can set the distance the TM will shut off from a waypoint, and how the TM will act once it arrives at that distance - shut off completely, spot lock at the point, etc. I'll look it up and let you know.

I tried in both modes, if I say navigate to a waypoint the trolling motor will get to the Waypoint and shut off. Even if I select for the unit to spot lock at Waypoint. I did notice that if I navigate to a waypoint it will go to the Waypoint but if I tell it to spot lock at the Waypoint once it hits that hundred foot window it shuts off. I even tried spot lock on the foot pedal as well as a remote and it does nothing but both lights on the pedal will light up. I tried spot locking at a random position while I was just drifting with the Wind but it doesn't do anything and I did go into the remote settings and tell the prop to automatically turn on and still did not work. There has to be something that I'm missing. Because it's stopping outside of a hundred foot window so if I try to spot lock at my current position I'm inside that hundred foot window so it doesn't respond

Did you try it with the footpedal disconnected and using just the remote?
