I found the post when Him and Dale visited us down here in Florida when Billbob was down:

Here's another pic from 2012 Crappie Camp on LOZ:

You can tell that this pic was taken on the way back from Franky and Louies. Rick was a lot of fun for sure.

Sad news. My heart is heavy over his passing. He will be forever remembered and missed dearly at camps. Prayers sent to family and friends.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

Rick was one of my favorite buddies from camps. From my first camp back in 07 he took me in as one of the gang. Was lucky enough to see him each year at camps and about once a month the last couple years when I worked at Everharts. Rick and Dale would always come see me when weather kept them off the lake while here at Truman. Always enjoyed his calls to let me know they would be coming down and wanting a report. He will truely be missed by many of us that were lucky enough to get to know him over the last several years. Camp fires won't be the same with out him.

Couldn't have said it better myself, so I won't.

Don't think I've EVER seen him when he wasn't smiling.

The world needs more like Rick.

    Prayers sent.
