Watts Bar March 17th Tournament Results


East TN Crappie Club held its March 17th event on Watts Bar Lake this past Saturday and had 17 boats enter the tournament. Unlike the January event this time Watts Bar was not froze over and anglers had free range of the lake. It seems that we have been delt bad weather all year and this event was a little better. It did rain on the anglers for around half an hour at first light but the day turned out to be really good for fishing after the shower pushed through. Fish were caught in several different ways from fishing brush to spider rigging in the creek chanels. Live bait and any bait with chartreuse seemed to work best.
