I have been wanting to join the East TN Crappie Club for a while now. I see there is a tournament this weekend and am thinking about joining the club now and fishing in the Douglas tournament. I consider myself an intermediate crappie fisherman but have never fished on Douglas. If I come to the tournament, will club members give me some guidance on where to fish? It's always difficult fishing on a lake for the first time. Thanks.

    Ccgerlach,

We would love for you to come fish with us this weekend. Helping the fishing community as a whole is our goal as a club. We are not trying to get rich off of fishing tournaments. We want every angler to leave our tournaments feeling that they know more than they did when they arrived. If you would like to give me a call I will defiantly give you all the knowledge I possibly can to put you on fish at Douglas and I know that most all of our members would do the same for you. Please feel free to call me anytime after 5 pm at 865-640-1602.

    Thank you,
    Matt
