The pin tail (aka spike tail) is one of the best shapes ever. I you are unable to can't catch fish on it, 1. you aren't where the fish are or 2. you are working the lure too fast or 3. your jig is too heavy.
I won't go fishing without a few in the boat.
These were produced from the film left on a serving spoon used to stir hot plastic in a Pyrex cup.
The film was cut into these shapes and dipped a few times to increase body diameter:
They are on par with any good lure ever made.
