Default Problem with lamination plate success

    New to plastic lures

    I just got a 2.5 stinger mold.
Made several with both plates. Top and bottom.
When I tried to use the lamination plate for the mold I did not have success.

With the lamination plate it would not fill all the cavities.
Sometimes the bottom 1 and or second row would fill and be fine. However the rest would be missing the tail and as it went to the top there would be less plastic.

I tried going slower and faster adjusted the temperature.

Just to make sure I was doing things right I did a full cavity injection. With success. But not with the lamination plate.

Also when I took off the lamination plate the tails that did work, very few, they came out of the mold and had to be put back in.
Very hard to put the tails that are small back in the mold. Nearly impossible.

Also will a dual injection work on this mold.

BA Stinger 2.5 from fat guys fishing

    Thanks for any input.

Yes Dual injector the only way to go on them make sure that you have everything warm your molds your injectors make sure that everything is warmed up to room temperature or more sometimes when you’re trying to shoot hot plastic get a cold injector it will start to cool to fast before it fills your cavities . When you were doing a Tail mold or body mold just make sure everything is hot like I said above even when you’re doing the laminate you may want to take a fine brush or something and do half of the mold with worm oil or Pam that you were doing the laminate this way they will slide it off to stay in the mold. I have two of those molds they shoot beautiful.Name: DB7D7E75-05F9-456B-83F3-27D952E0FC5D.jpg
