What was learned by fishing these unusual shapes and colors?
1. Bright white does very well as does all black
2. Each lure shape has a different action even when using the same retrieve.
3. Size may matter at times: smaller when fish are finicky, larger when fish are irritable or in murky water
4. Many designs can catch fish of many species in the same water on the same day and in many different colors
5. Concentrating on lure shape and action is key vs. what fish assume a lure is supposed to represent (prey animal)
6. Fish senses target lures in general when the right combination of shape, action and speed are right. A lure must hold their attention long enough to affect those senses.
