Default Snake River how about putting moving fins on lures

    Snake River,

Have you ever thought about putting moving fins on soft plastic minnow imitators? I am trying with the idea. I took white embroidery thread, put it on a needle and threaded it through the lure where fins should be. Interesting because they actually move like fish fins. Comments anyone?

    Mike

Yes we thought about it little time-consuming but it would be quite effective because you would be putting a skirt on the sides which would give it more action in the water and of course it would attract fish I might have to try some of that the next time we go in a few days will try to give youA report. A report We went fishing last evening in carter variety of panfish bluegill bass Crappie and perch .

I sure have and also contemplated how many ways and materials I could use to do it. I like me some lego lures.

Will thread some tinsel flash on a needle. Just might be on to something. Might have to get an embroidery needle and order some tinsel flash. Hmmm

Just ordered tinsel 2000 (Christmas icicles) and eight embroidery needles from Amazon Prime. Will be here on Tuesday. Total for both products is under five bucks. Stay tuned.

Reminds me a bit of the Clam Silkie jig trailer. Except in the middle.

    Snake River,

I decided on the Flash Tinsel Marabou. That should work well. I will post a video by Thursday on the results.

Might try that stuff in the molds when I get set back up again don’t know what temperature that would take before it melted.
