    Default Tail question?

What is the best way to have tails freeze in place I let my lures cure for a couple days but on some of the thinner tail baits I run into problems later down the line for example this style of bait wondering if I should switch to a harder plastic see if that will negate some of the issues or take more time carefully placing the baits in their packaging?

I would say that your clamps are not Tight enough when you shoot them. But the one in the picture in your hand looks good to me.

They come out of the mold just fine I'm talking about long term storage like when I put them in zip locks and go to use them down the line the tails aren't straight

That is the plastic that I use I don’t have that problem with the plastic as you probably know if you let that set up for 24 hours or more it gets harder as time goes the plastics. This past year we’ve used over 55 gallons of their plastic I love their plastic especially the mediums it holds up good and we don’t have any complaints from fisherman.

Have you considered changing the packaging to keep the tail straight?

Can’t you dip any curved tail bait in hot water for a bit and they straighten out?
