I think I need to use my Drexel and make the tails or tail fins a bit heavier. There is some flashing I’ll have to deal with...but one it works. I have some life things to do to keep momma happy, which in turns allows me to keep doing what I like, hahaha...Eric.

Just wondering, but when making the mold, could you put in some screen, or even rabbit mesh fence, to give it some strength?

I suppose it's possible. Never heard of it, nor seen anyone do it, but I would think you could as long as it didn't interfere with the bait...

I let them sit on a piece of scrap aluminum for the day, then did a bit of trimming with a pair of scissors and this is the finished product...
I need to get a couple small ball head type bits for my dremel before tackling a fix on the tail area. In the meantime I will see how the fish like them... updates later. EricName: 20201011_193324.jpg

I know what you mean. It happens to me all the time. I do know that once you identify a problem then finding the solution is easy. Keep up the good work.
