Default How glue tail with body in soft baits

    Hello all,
Can someone explain to me how the big plastic company glue the tails to the body like a Fat Ika bait? I need to do this operation faster... I'm gluing one by one by hand 😔😔😔

    Thanks

There are a couple of ways to do the tail after you shoot your mold open it back up and pull the body off leaving the tail in the mold most mold makers make a tail mold but I’ve always tour the body off with a towel in the mold make sure that you spray 1/2 with Pam and wipe it off this way when you pull them apart your baits will stay in 1/2.

Some of the bigger companies have large capacity mold have a either a flat bar going in between the mold they could pull out after they shoot the tail they pull the bar back up and shoot the body.

Big companies have big injection machines with molds that have sliders. Shoot one side of bait, move slider and then shoot the other side onto 1st side shot.

Make the two parts, hold each one over a candle flame, hold the parts together for 4 seconds. Done!
All my hybrid designs are made that way.
