    Default Borrowed Mold

I found a neighbor who also makes soft plastics and after talking for a good while, I talked him into letting me shoot a mold he had. It's the Jacob's SBST 1.75". Shad body stinger tail mold...Man these things are small...
Here are some I shot last night...Name: 20200807_075959.jpg

Thanks Dave. was going to try a multi colored pour/shoot, but they are small, small. Just doing the tail was a bit, but I'm going to stay with it. Checking out some mold companies forums on baits others have done I know it's possible, just need practice and a whole lot of patience...I'll post a pic from my phone of the thickness of this compared to a clear bodied Bic pen...

Thank you folks for the kind words and encouragement. Just starting out actually making soft plastics. Bought the crappie carrot mold from Do-it molds, and then this one is borrowed. As soon as I can I have an other mold I want to get, just cant swing it at the moment. Been on the web a lot reading, studying, learning and picking up a lot of info for sure. Some of the mold companies forums have galleries of baits customers have made that are just flat out awesome...maybe one day I might get 1/2 as good as some of them. In the mean time I make what I can make...Thanks again. Eric, AKA jamesdean.
