This photo shows how it has held it's color after 96 hours of continuously underwater.

Thanks for posting the picture which shows color bleed and which will get worse within a week. Spike-It sells a paint that is applied to the plastic's surface in a thin surface layer and can not bleed. It dries fast and can't come off.
Spike-It dye on the other hand does bleed as well as fade and a bright chartreuse lure after dipping will dull if black or other dark color is applied to one side for example. I apply dark colors to the tips of highly textured lures and don't have to worry about bleed. Note the bottom swimbait:

Still the same after 1 month. Now I wish it could only catch a fish....

I have tried the "Spike it" dye and you cannot control the dye or effects due to bleeding. I will check out "Spike it" paint and see if I can replicate and duplicate the effects I want. Having said all that, the marker technique is good for a day's fishing. Just be sure you have let it dry about five minutes before inserting in the water. Since I have the molds, I just found it easier to make up ten lures whenever I want to go fishing. I appreciate the heads up on the Spike It paint. I looked at Bass Pro shop and Cabella's and the only paint I saw from Spike it was chartreuse or orange. I am looking for Blood and black. Do they make it in those colors?

I found the colors I need at Tackle Warehouse. Here is a link in case others are interested. Spike It Worm & Chunk Paint - Tackle Warehouse

The paint has to be shipped by ground transport as it cannot be shipped by air. So I will have to wait about six or seven days before trying out my new toys. It will arrive about this time next week. Stay tuned folks. The best is yet to come with the "Re-Liberated" perch. It is wonderful when a concept idea comes to its fullest fruition. Thanks Spoonminnow.

    Thanks again.

Well done Brother Mike. You are quite the intrepid inventor... I must say.

Just wait until I get the correct paint. The Liberated Perch will really pop then.
