So satisfying when you catch fish on lures you've made ! Anymore it's the only reason I fish.

I warm the injector instead of the mold. I lay it on a griddle while i heat my plastic . Get you some vise grip metal clamps the ones with the pads that move or a wood working vise i have two they are great. Cub48

I would wrap my mold and the injector in a heating pad for an hour then mix the plastic to about 320 degrees. When I shot the mold I place them in a wood vise and shoot with slow and steady pressure. Always place some more hot plastic in the injection hole as it helps when the mold is sucking in the plastic.

Make sure to top off the mold.
The best thing my dad ever gave me was his love of fishing.

I have those molds. Clamp pressure is the key. You will get it set to how it feels after a couple hundred times. Worst mold for shooting and best fish catcher. I fish the tails up and down. Good luck and welcome to the madness!!

I started off with two clamps, now I’m using four and it’s working great, I use the trigger type
