OK guys here’s a little bit of a demonstration of how I put scales on my plastic Baits this is powder pigment that you use to stir into your plastic also that you can use liquid color and also but it can’t be very messy and of course very time-consuming after I get through putting the scale on the plastic bait we dip and clearcoat .

It is very, very time consuming and this technique can be very messy but the results are amazing. I was going to look into the possibility of getting an airbrush and a small compressor but the cost was way out of my league for just making lures for myself. I made a "Fish scale" screen that I pressed on to the lure and used a small amount from a spray can of paint. The look was good however it just took way to long to dry. I would have to use a different paint that dries in under a minute and still sprays a mist for the best effect Bob.
