That’s what I thought too especially after seeing the mold. Pretty cool if so, double use!

I was thinking the same thing "G" when I looked at it. If so, how was Bob able to slide them over the tail material without damaging it. I believe IMHO he must have another type of jelly jig mold. It looks as if he used a dual injector because I also see two different hues. Nice job Bob.

BREAKING NEWS.............David is footing the $300.00 bill so all of our curiosity will be fulfilled. He is even giving Bob a $15.00 tip to insure prompt service. I still think it would not be improbable to make that if he somehow he places the bait balls on an empty hook, somehow slides them to the top, holds them in place while he uses a vise to tie on tail material...I DO NOT think he did it this way because I DO NOT see any signs of tying thread wraps between the jelly and the start of the tail material

.... or he just ties the tail material on the hook first then places that hook into a mold that allows him to inject the soft plastic around by injection molding. The tail material would have to be outside the mold David. Look closely my friend and you will see how the jelly encapsolates the tail material. IMHO this is what I believe Bob is doing. He is good at what he does.
