Here's that Thumper Fry again only this time I've used two colors for the lines instead of one. The plastic used is the same as what was used in the gin clear shot from a couple days ago....the same plastic in fact...a re-melt for this.

I did the usual hand pour of the belly side of the mold, trying to keep that cavity about 2/3 full of plastic. I allowed the bellies to cool for 5 minutes so the color would not gel up from heat when I dotted it on the bellies. The baits on one side of the runner got orange applied at the head end of the belly and chartreuse to the tail area of the belly. On the other side I reversed the colors. They both have character, but the orange is a bit more fluid and helped to create the marbling effect seen in those three on the lower right. Five of the 10 baits shown have tail stems that have orange very apparent on one side and chartreuse distinctly on the other. I call this shot a super success. Very, very happy with it.

All of the tail stems in this batch have color. Its amazing how from one angle the color is very apparent but turn the bait just a bit and the tail is as clear as glass.
