That is different, but I bet the tail action is good.
guys let me know what you think about these jigs it is something that we are playing with. the tail is green pumpkin seed body just a plain red 2" jig.

Yes to tell action is terrific we just have to get some different color combinations that picture was leftover scraps it's like using a stinger the good thing about making those is that I can make up the tail color anything that I have laying around in the body would be the same whatever I dream up but it does have a lot of action.

Looks like a great tail action plastic, how about a pink body(like the 2" small fry on your color chart page 4 your web site) with a clear green chartreuse tail, or a orange body & a clear green chartreuse tail, or a clear light blue body with sparkles with the same clear green chartreuse tail
I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it.....

The tail looks like cannon fuse....do the fish get a bang out of it? Green and red....wow, the most dis-liked colors in my box. Now a chartreuse tail and orange or hot pink body is going in the right direction but a chartreuse tail and purple body would already be there at the top.
I tied up a couple bucktails one winter day using the last of a green and a red tail. I just didn't want to not use the hair. A couple days later a buddy and I slid the boat across the ice and hit the big river for some walleyes. He was digging thru my jigs and found those two ugly things and tied one on. After three or four casts he lost it. He tied the other one on and dropped it down only to have a big old walleye about 9 pounds crawl all over it. He had that fish mounted with that ugly jig in its mouth. I have a picture of that fish somewhere and if I can find it I'll scan it and post it.
I don't like either of those two colors apart or together. I like the plastic's profile though and that rat tail should really get fish hyped up. What is the size of that minnow head Bob?

ctom They are 1/32oz. heads there are a couple of different ways that I've made that style in the past this body here was made from two different molds just messing around like I said we were just having a bunch of scraps in a bucket and I was seeing if it was going to work or not . will come out with better color combinations if I decide to go with these little guys. I can make them so they would carry a 1/8 ounce jig head perfect for walleyes and smallmouth.

wow nice
I like it Bob. I may try threading different tails other than feathers in my jelly jigs. http://www.crappie.com/crappie/diy-s...lly-jelly-jig/ Seems like those will work.

Mike you could probably do that I haven't tried to pull one of these rubber tales through the plastic those in the picture are molded but we will try to do that if I get a chance today and will let you know and if you wanted some of those tales we will send you a bunch to mess with. either way elsewhere trout worms for the tail we simply tear off part of it and use a short piece of the worm and lay it in another mold and put hot plastic to molded in.
