I bought all my glitter at Wally World and have not had any problems with it. Did not melt, change color or run EXCEPT for the purple. I have used red, green, blue, silver, gold and hologram and have no problems with them.

magnum, where you been in so long? I have not heard from you in a while. I tried to pm you a while back. Hows your buddy doing out there, is he still working all the time? Is it a certain brand or manufacturer name on that glitter you used so I might know what to look for? I go to wal-mart a lot so I was thinking of just trying one and seeing how it does. Thanks for letting me know so that I can give it a shot and see.

Hey Crappieseeker. I have been down for about nine months with a back injury so I have not been doing much of anything. The glitter that I use is as follows. The large silver is a 4 ounce bottle that says GLITTER PARTY. Ultra fine glitter is a six pack with red, green blue, silver, gold and purple. Do not use the purple unless you want lavender colored jigs. The purple runs bad. It is called TREE HOUSE STUDIO. The halographic that gives you a pearl like look is POLY FLAKE polyester glitter. As I said all color work fine except for the purple.

I have heated and reheated plastic with this glitter mixed in and have never had a problem. No bleeding and no melting. But as I stated do not use the purple. I learned that the hard way.

I saw the 4 ounce bottles and they looked like they would work, then I saw the small multi packs I think like you are talking about. It is definitely cheaper. I just wish they had more color options. I might check hobby lobby too
